is there a way to stamp an input on the L-system similar to how you can stamp a variable in the copy sop so that you can randomize a parameter that is generating a leaf shape.

so for example if I plug a box into the J input if i can randomize the height of the box on a per leaf basis.

It's been a while since I touched lsystems but I believe that's what The variables in the Values tab are for.

Good Morning.

Recall that lsystems works on a per generation basis, so if you wanted to alter per leaf you could generate the lsystem then group the appropriate leafs and regenerate those leafs.
Put if you want to mod all the leafs for one particular lsystem then you could do that on the outside as part of the leaf input system.

Hope that helps..

Yes that is possible,

Better though is that you create points that you can use in a copy group after. This gives you more flexibility and allows you to nest l-systems making them vastly more powerful.

Super example this is precisely what I thought I needed to do.
