Hi I'm learning Houdini ,

Whats the differece to use attribute or stamp function , I men both are way to introduce variety ... but why they are different ?

I guess You are talking about the copySOP. Attributes are copied to the copies. all points of the copied geometry inherit the pointattributes of the sourcepoint. stamping goes deeper, You can modify the modeling process per individual copy. for example if you have a switchSOP it can select different geometry branches for each point, something that is impossible with attributes alone
