wow, you need a serious update. That list is lacking severely many many houses. Apparently you think the world ends up in Canada  :D

From the top of my head, Double Negative, Digital Domain, Dreamworks,Rhythm&Hues, Sony Pictures Imageworks, Dr. D Studios, Blue Sky Studios, Axis Animation. I´m sure there are many others I´m missing...

No everywhere is good. I wrote those in Vancouver because I didn't know others in Canada.

Why did you cross MPC Van? Is it closed?

They don't use houdini as far as I know.(I had a interview a while back as well as know a few people working there.

MPC is a Maya house, but I have used Houdini with them before on a commercial in LA. Maya couldn't handle the type of volumetric work we needed.
Slash and hack!!! ...standing on the shoulders of giants isn't a good battle cry...

Good to know that about MPC.

@static, I saw that too but why are those jobs' salaries listed as hourly? Are they contract-based?

Also when did they start ILM Vancouver? I didn't know it existed before, until I saw their job ad at the sidefx forum recently.
