Hey I was wondering how to do bubbles with flip fluids in houdini 12.
I saw the white water video that sidefx put out a while ago and they made it seam very easy but  i can't find out how to get it to work.
any tips for that?
cheers

yea i checked every single tutorial i could find on flip fluids and hydro simulations in general for houdini and non of them went into the process of setting up a effect like the one in the flip fluid marketing video from sidefx.
In the talk about the new flips they mention that all they used were some points scattered in a tank with gave surrounding flip fluid particles a different density and that would create this effect.
the problem is, that i can't find out how to get scatter points to influence a attribute just on some points during the DOP simulation.
Any one of you guys have any ideas on how to do that?
I would really approached that.

Bubbles can be created by reducing the density of pockets of the flip fluid.

Here's the file that was used to create the effect of bubbles in the movie.

There's at least one school like the old school!
