I want to print the Houdini help to read, but I don't want to print for instance the example files listed at the end of each operator help card, etc.

Is there maybe a pdf or chm that has irrelevant parts removed for printing?

Thanks :)

Printers are unfriendly. Bad printer, bad.

skk.

ps no, there is not.
(...) It was late, late in the evening, the lovers they were gone;
The clocks had ceased their chiming, and the deep river ran on.

lol better than the alternatives, tablet or ebook reader IMO.

I've used the Evernote Web Clipper before with good success, especially for areas like the expression cookbook it's been really helpful.  Once you have a page clipped it's formatted very cleanly, however for a batch solution to all pages or one big pdf, probably not the solution.

Hi Magneto!

Sorry I cannot be of any help.

But... if you ever make a pdf out of the help file, would you consider posting it here? It would be helpful. I too hate to read from screen...

Good luck!

Evernote looks interesting, Thanks John.

Joaquim, np of course I would post it if I make one :) But the issue I am worried is, even if this is done once with time, the pdf would be out of sync from the SESI docs.

I know a couple good apps to convert html to chm, pdf, but this step of removing example files from the page should be automated.

Then it could be done very easily whenever you wanted to generate a new pdf.

I will do some investigation :)
