Hi,

I have a digital asset that uses a color ramp in the parameters, but I can't figure out how to set the defaults for it. As if it is now, when a new instance of the asset is used the ramp defaults to a two point black/white gradient. Which really isn't correct for the context of the asset.

Is there anyway to set this?

Thanks,

Ramp parameters (which are really a fancy multiparm block) are definitely lacking with the default settings through the interface. However, if you create the parameter, configure the points how you like and hit the 'Get from parameter' button on the parameter in the Type Properties it should save the state as the default values.

You could also add an OnCreated section to your asset and configuring all the default points manually.
