Hey guys,

I am having problem with materials using instancing. If I use "instance" attribute on the points (e.g. /obj/box) than the material assignment works fine. However when I am using "instancefile" attribute (e.g. $HIP/box.bgeo), even though the instanced bgeo contain "material_override" and "shop_materialpath" attributes the object stays without material. Another thing I have noticed that "instancefile" displays the geo only when using "Fast point instancing". Funnily enough, using "instance" works only with "Full point instancing". :)

Any ideas why is this happening?

Best,
Dawid

Ok, found the solution. Basically I am using Delay Load Procedural shaders to bring the bgeo and material (ifd). I use "instance" attribute to use proxy geo with the geometry shaders assigned.
