hello folks

I would like to know how to import houdini particles in maya in a way that I can use an attribute like particleID to drive a creation expression on radiusPP. I guess that RFexport canīt help me on this because it generates an entirelly particle system each frame. Do i need to write a custom code to do that?

thx in advance

I think you have to write a custom node, if you dont use the rfexport plugin.
Its a bit tricky but i think you can handle it. I have to say, i know houdini since two years, i use it for geometry animation, like crowdsim or something like this, after that i export all to maya, i use a script wich i postet to import these obj sequences to mayam blendshape animations.

i hope you can handle it, if yes please send me youre script.......if you want.. iam very interested in that...

:)
