I really like the subtle things that make the curve look like wool. It's quite real looking.

That looks great! Looks like displacement applied to the curve?

I saw the wireframe video in high quality and it looks like L-systems?

I tried several different ways.
Actually it's curve based tube. Also I applied displacement and some fur procedural.
