    i've done something like this. before your cache node just drop a timeshift and divide time by your substeps ($F/4). then after your cache another timeshift and you can animate it as you want. also take a look at this tutorial

  3. Hello magicians! I'm doing a project where I have to loop textures on multiple goes. Basically a sprite randomization with textures, but I can not figure out a way how to loop the texture sequence like padzero does. I have to do it in VOP or vex, since the shader expects a specific filename as a map on the geo. Sadly, I can not upload a scene file, but hopefully my problem is understandable.     hi im working on a project, where i need to fill a big object with multiple types of smaller ones, without intersections (i need to simulate it later). my method for now, is to scatter a bunch of points with a points from volume sop, and copy stamp my smaller objects on to them. the problem starts, when i need to use different shaped objects (bricks, tubes and other stuff) to create a randomness. at that point, my objects start to intersect of course. is there a smart way to to this other than doing it by hand? (this is a project for a client so i can not post hip) thanks for any help in advance. cheers
