  1. Hair and Fur - Not in the same spot

Aye, that was the issue, thanks a bunch! Lots to learn. :-)
  2. Short problem and question; I have an object which is covered in fur - I've set a 'randomized' length of each hair strand. I do not want to simulate this one, only it to follow the object. Problem: The fur is "randomizing" the length(and placement?) EACH frame it cooks. I do not want this behaviour, I want it to stay in its same spot throughout the movement. Any one know about this? -Moose
  3. Emit particles on "touch"

I've solved my issue! ~ Thanks.
  4. Emit particles on "touch"

@Atom Hey! Not quite what I was looking for, but thank you for the video. Actually, I have a good representation of what it would look like: Now, I'm still having a hard time setting this up, but I'm assuming its going to be based of the velocity of the object. So if another object makes the main object dislodge and waver around (like the video), it would emit particles. Any guidelines on how to set-up a tree for such a thing?
  5. Emit particles on "touch"

Hey! So, I'm not all too familiar yet with houdini, but here's what I'm trying to do: I have two objects, once the second (moving object) hits the first object (rather static), I want the first object (static) to emit particles from all of its surface. Can anyone shed any light on this? Thanks!
