    It dont read bhclassic at least the versions i have.i havent compiled any version yet, the ones i have work fine, just the extra step to rename.

    well if you want to retain the shape of the object you can do it in Maya with ncloth,cloth in Houdini sucks

    In the end i was using partIO,you can have several channels in maya including rotation on top of that you can use instances,not big caches anymore:),2016 and alembic still sucks.

    Thanks!its an issue with the shutter,if i export and choose start frame in Arnold it renders fine,if i choose "center of frame" or "end frame" it fuck ups again,im exporting 4 samples from houdini and 0-1,Arnold works in 0-1,maybe something with the alembic rop. Well i think solved,if i export with 0.5 to 1.5 in the Alembic Rop it works with center of frame.

    Hi guys,i have 2 problems with the ip,first i can't group particles,the advect by filament keeps affecting all particles I want to affect just the one near the emitter Second the mesh that its used by the source filaments node collides with the ground ,there is a way to ignore this collision? Anyone have this strange problem exporting particles from Houdini to Maya?It doesn't happens on all frames,its just sort of random,some frames render fime if you turn off snapping in timeline and scrub,weird. The render engine its Arnold,i know there is a way to carry the v information in vertex to Maya But this its the only way to avoid this issue? The particles are geo after a copy operator,nothing fancy

    Hi guys,i wonder if there is a way to shape guides to geo,i mean something like hair from a head and shape it as dog in the end. I was thinking on using velocity fields ,but i haven't find a way to affect the wire solver. Thanks!
