  2. Particle Fluid flow from animated character????

Hello Owl & Chris, Great method Owl. I tried the latest file that you sent to Chris, as I am also looking for similar effect but unfortunately, I am not getting it. I might be doing something wrong or not following the file. I am a noob in Houdini and just started learning. Can any of you go through the file I have attached and guide me the issue? The kind of effect I am trying to achieve is in the reference video below: https://vimeo.com/100104687 Check out the characters, they are made of grains and I am also looking for same/similar effect that can work with fluids. I have attached a dummy running character alembic and a hip file to know, what I am talking about. Thanks in advance for your help. Hope to hear from you soon. Regards fluidchar.rar
  3. Hello, I am new to Houdini and learning. I have a task to do for a client, who requires water to flow along curve just like Realflow DSpline. I am using POP Curve Force to achieve the curve flow but not able to get the turbulent motion. I am trying to achieve something similar like the link below: https://vimeo.com/146377194 Thanks Poojan
  4. Ribbon roller falls on a table, then on a dog and then goes out of shot. I created the ribbon extension in houdini with the help of particles, created a line with add node and skinned it. I got the movement and the ribbon is falling perfectly fine and collisions are good so far. The problem I am having is, the dog is a moving object (shaking his head) and the collision on the ground is "stick to the object." When the dog moves, the ribbon gets stretched rather than moving along to give a natural feel. Please tell me, what shall I do to get the natural feel of the translation object (dog) and the ribbon. Hope I could explain my problem. I am sorry for any unexplained problem.
