  1. hi I have a problem with smoke upres sim. it's normal when I cache lowres. but when I use upres to sim. the result is weird. the smoke has been cut into quarter after few frames. don't know if anyone has the same experience. I tried to solve it with change my bounding parameter setting. but nothing going good..... ( maybe the problem not from bounding box, because the bounding range in normal in the viewport. not sure....) the video and pics attached. issue_1.mov
  2. Hi guys, I'm currently using the Bound node as part of modelling project and am looking to store the Y rotation created by the "Oriented Bounding Box" option. Is there a way to store these values or can you create the same rotation a different way after creating the bounding box? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Cheers! -Henry
  3. I was expecting the input on the Sphere SOP to allow me to get the smallest bounding sphere of a mesh (in this case a polygon). But that's not what I'me getting the the picture below, even with Accurate Bounds turned on. So is there any known solution for this sort of problem? Here, since 2D, smallest circle problem: Scene: PRB_Bound_Sphere.hipnc Cheers
  4. Hi guys! I'm trying to restrict volume density by Bounding Box and Ramp. I created FitRange and Ramp nodes. When I move sphere by Y axis I can modify FitRange MIN and MAX values manually to keep density restricted. But I can't import min and max values and wire them into min and max inputs of FitRange. Is it possible to import attribute into volumevop? cloud_dencity_test_001.hip
