  1. Hello guys, I want to apply some effects to the "low-density" particles that reach the surface (like bubbles), so how can I select them? Is there any microsolver that helps? I think measuring the SDF can't help because the side walls of the container are close to the particles, too. Thanks for helping.
  2. how to sim this effect, someone who have any ideas? many thanks! 1f05dd2ba2fe79a9e7d4cbe3d93039e1.mp4
  3. This is my first post. I'm sorry if I'm wrong about the conventions here. I'm trying to create an animation that goes from above water to below water. I want to make a splash when above water and a bubble when underwater. For the bubbles, I looked for tutorials on Youtube and found that most of them were created with polygons. I was thinking of using particles for the water, but is it possible to use polygonal bubbles for the water? Is there a better way to do this? Also, if you have any tutorials to recommend, please let me know. Sorry for my bad English. Thanks for your kindness guys:)
  4. Hello all, I've seem to run into a weird problem on my most recent project. One of my objects doesn't render, with a material or without. Yes it's in my force objects, yes it's a polygon mesh(unless vellum does something weird that I didn't know about). I tried switching the shader from the generic to another material but it doesn't matter. It will render my other polygon object, the ripples, and even the smoke sim later on in the sequence. But it won't render the ball, nomatter what I do. I'm using 17 just incase in matters. This is literally the last step of my project and I can't wait to see it done, but this silly thing has to get fixed first. Thanks for your help.
  5. Hey everyone! I`d appreciate if someone could give me a help on this. I`ve been doing a melting object and as it melts I have a popnetwork creating particles for my bubbles geo wherever the object is changing viscosity based on an attribute I created. To make sure the particles always stick to the surface I created a Ray Sop with the method set to Minimun Distance since Project Rays is not giving me any results. But I`m facing a problem with it since the particles don`t move with the deforming surface. I have attached a playblast to better illustrate my issue. Cheers! Bubbles.mp4
  6. Hey guys , i have been trying to create this effect but not there yet, i have attached a mov file along with this post, which shows the movement of bubble i am after. There have been few posts related to bubble effect but those were all static and no movement as such, If somebody could guide me on this it would be really helpful. ref_bubble.mov
