Hi, I recently switched from Mint to Centos 7. I have a doubt that if installing CUDA driver is needed to get the open cl performance out of the graphics card? I successfully disabled the nouveau driver and installed the Nvidia driver 390.87. But I get some errors when installing the cuda driver. Do I really need to install cuda driver to get the best performance from the graphics card? Thanks!

Hi, I'm suffering from using CUDA acceleration when making Houdini custom node. Could you tell me how to use CUDA and HDK both? I'm using Houdini 15.0 and CentOS 7. I'll appreciate if you give some tips for it.

Latest CUDA 8 Toolkit - any advantage for OpenCL

Hi If you are enabling OpenCL does installing the latest CUDA 8.0 Toolkit offer any advantage over simply having the latest Nvidia drivers installed? -
