  1. Hey guys! I am doing a FLIP simulation using a moving Flat Tank with Narrowband and I am getting this weird banding/little waves in the new generated particles in the boundaries. Some one have a solution for that problem? I am tying all day without success :C

    Water Splash

    Hi Everyone, I am trying to create a water splash with separate water trails as shown in the below image. I have created separate sim for splash and main water sim. Using object velocity to emit splashes but unable to get proper shapes of water splash as per reference. Any ideas or suggestions will be of great help.

    hey guys! does anyone know how this slime effect is created in Houdini? btw. the creator has written that he's used flip sim and afterwards applied a displacement on the mesh in cinema 4d. I tried it but the result is not the same. thank you, guys. 6.mp4

  5. Hi everyone, If I have many emitter source in Flip DOP and I have one of custom vel for volume velocity by copy. So if I want active force on just one of all emitter source but I want to make all of fluid from many emitter still interact together. So how to mask volume vel or how to tell volume vel active on some emitter. Thanks.

  7. Hey, I am using the the output of my flip sim to save the simulation to disk. I told it to do 600 frames. It does around 120 then randomly stops. It gives no error. Houdini has not crashed. What would cause this? Thanks
  8. I've been trying to create a beer simulation with foam, although when the cup moves the particles collapse in on themselves and fall out of the bottom of the RBD object. There doesn't seem to be any problems when the glass gets filled up, just when it starts to move. I thought it had to do with particle separation and sub-steps, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
