ikarus Posted February 20, 2011 Share Posted February 20, 2011 I downloaded HOT for linux64 from this thread: Link and installed it, but when i load houdini i get this error: Houdini DSO - error on '/home/rpopka20/mount/stuhome/odFhot/dso/SOP_Ocean.so' /usr/lib64/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.9' not found (required by /home/rpopka20/mount/stuhome/odFhot/dso/SOP_Ocean.so) Houdini DSO - error on '/home/rpopka20/mount/stuhome/odFhot/dso/VEX_Ocean.so' /usr/lib64/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.9' not found (required by /home/rpopka20/mount/stuhome/odFhot/dso/VEX_Ocean.so) Houdini DSO - error on '/home/rpopka20/mount/stuhome/odFhot/dso/SOP_Cleave.so' Compiler incompatibility detected. gcc compiler versions below 4.3 are not compatible with gcc compiler versions 4.3 or above. i unfortunately dont have root access to the computers i am working on so i cant build from source, does someone have a build i can use? running on redhat, using .547 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
