Hi all i downloaded the file and i dont know how to convert it to vdb. please can you tell me where i can connect the vdb converter node in this file.

old thread revival time - hey why start a new thread for it :)

great effect really nice done - i just found a pretty cool tutorial for a very similar effect using custom forces on a mesh - could be useful!

Thanks! Haven't played around with smoke/pyro that much so this really saved me. 

If I want to add some multicolor to this smoke, from either a ramp or from an image, how would i do that? Not familiar with all the volume nodes and it does not seem to have a Cd attrib by default.

Hello Mr. slayerk, you seem to feel very magical project file, a project file originally I test, your custom force field into the pyrosolver clearing device, the smoke will be off, do not know what reasons, I think you do not have this problem, I and your custom field it is basically the same but do not know why the effects are not the same. Then I use pyrosolver in SOP to change the way a node hybrid stress field can be, can explain the solution in the custom force field and the pyrosolver itself in a pyrosolver field how to operate it?
