BulletSOP is implementation of Bullet library (bulletphysics.org) inside SideFx Houdini (sidefx.com). It's a plugin for creating incredibly large rigid body simulations on average PC.
At this moment it's single-thread application (we're waiting for official release of Bullet Library 3.0 with GPU support) but speed is very impressive already. As well as memory footprint. The plugin is free! So you can create truly stunning massive simulations.
It has 6 extraordinary nodes which are very powerful and universal. All data which these nodes generate can be modified with standard Houdini nodes.
This tool is compiled for Houdini production builds. It includes many example scenes (beginner -> professional) which are probably the best learning resources. Free video tutorials are coming soon!

PS: You need Houdini 12.5.376 build! With older or later versions I can't guarantee functionality!

This is WorkInProgress of trailer for BulletSOP.

Some statistics:

Pre-fracturing: 35minutes :(

Objects: 48 158

Constraints: 718 838

HighPoly scene: 938 085 polygons

100frames: 1h 2m(1frame - 10s, 100frame: 2m 20s)

Don´t you think it would be a good idea to include a version text file for us to know what´s new on each release?

This version doesn't include any new features. There are speed improvements, fixed bugs and few new scenes.

But yeaah, I can add some text file with list :)

For upcoming 2.0.9 version, I changed force GUI(parameters), which is cleaner and more universal. I added really cool new example scene with magnets too.

There are few speed improvements and few new parameters, which speed up your work and let your network(s) cleaner.

Ah thats very nice, you are realy pushing stuff with your bullet plugin.

Sorry for a delay with 2.0.9 version, but I have bad news. It probably takes one more week before public release :(
We are working on new feature - Emitting system(If some objects break, You can emit(particles, smokes, ...) from "share" polygons between objects :)

This is changes file for 2.0.9 at this moment:
* Changed: Force(s) GUI and attributes
* Added: Example Magnet scene
* Improved: updateConstraints()
* Added: "Static" parameter to btBuild RBDs tab
* Added: "Update every frame" parameter to btBuild RBDs tab
* Added: auto-update mass of compound object from child(s) mass
* Added: Example Voronoi compound(cluster) scene
* Added: New node "btExtraCells" which optimalize creating high&low poly pieces
* Fixed: Problem when Houdini cook SOP_Loader node more than one on same frame
* Fixed: Crash when Constraint includes "index of object" which doesn't exist

I'm just posting email to testers with final 2.0.9 version. If all goes well, I will release this version on Tuesday maybe Wednesday. It's for the latest production build - 12.5.469.

This release will include one very exciting news! Stay tuned.

I have a lot of error when i try to open the sample scene with H13. 

I use Houdini FX 13.0.401 and BulletSOP_2_0_12. 

any idea?

It's compiled for 13.0.376 so maybe this is problem :wacko:
