Hi Guys. I Attach 2 pictures .

And here is my questions:   In Houdini 13 how to render the fire scatter like this pictures.  I can render the fire color  the smoke color , fire mask, smoke mask  layers.  But can't render the scatter color in Houdini 13.

So how can Houdini 13 render the scatter color layers or use another way to reach the effect like this pictures .

struggle with these problems for a long time .  Hope any master can help about that!  Really appreciate about it.

if you are rendering in PBR, and using a volume light that points to your flame field, then volume indirect/volume direct per light will give you what you are after.

Thanks narbuckl.  I try this today,I can render the all_comp  layer when I using a volume light.

But one more thing!  If the volume size is too high. such as mine 600 X 600 X 350   When I use the volume light  to render the flame, that's really slower than not use volume light.   My solution is to Sim a lower size flame DATA to match the volume light.   And then, render the higher size flame DATA? Is that right?   Or do you have another better advice!

Under Shading tab of pyro shader there is a parameter called "Scattering Phase". Play with this...........

Thanks man.  I tried the Scattering Phase before, still can not render the scatter color in houdini 13.  But I tried the volume light too, it works,

In houdini 12.5 the scatter color can be rendered any time .  But in Houdini 13 can't,  Must use the volume light. But I'm not sure,Maybe you have some good method.

Please explain in more details.  Or you just use 12.5 too.  Not try it in Houdini 13?
