Honeycomb pattern

Hello magicians,

I tried to replicate a cool pattern picture I saw today as a way to practice:

Couldn't get good results, this was my first try:

When I traslated to a face get even worst, any tips on how to achieve this kind of effect?, hip attached, sorry is kinda messy

Yes the compute dual stuff didn't worked for me, I ended up using a honeycomb grid from qLib, about the noise I tried some stuff but couldn't get it work properly, maybe because of normals, will figure out right now :D

Being addicted to patterns lately.

Here is how you can get something similar to original image. It is easy on a plane, but harder on a random model with Divide's "Compute Dual" applied. The fluffiness goes from small noise displace, I suppose.

@f1480187 just checked the file, glad to learn a method to make hexagon grids without the qlib, I always used the divide sop but without clean results. I also have a new favorite sop, the primitive :D never used before and already got some nice ideas to explore it, thanks again for the setup!
