noob> Simple oscillating rotation

Recommended Posts

I know you can simple use sin(@Time) to create an oscillating value in an Attribute Wrangle, but how would you use this to create a simple oscillating rotation on any piece of geometry(think clock mechanism or swing)?

simple Pigulum ?

5 = Amp

10 = Freq

(if using $T, you'll have to mult by quite a large number)

just to expand on this topic, which way is 'better' (less expensive...whatever...) ?:

01) transform 1 object

or

02) manipulate a billion points of that same object
