Atmosphere Objects in Houdini 5.5

Hmm.. I'll have to get back to you with those later. I've only used the Texture3D stuff back in H5.0 beta. It seems like this stuff has been really popular in Garman's class. FIgured I might as well go back to the basics and experiment it it again. Be sure to come to the Lucas tonight and bring your questions to Steve. :)

ok....once u've generated the i3d files , u create a volumetric atmosphere SHOP

in there u import in the i3d file sequence.

after that u go to the object level and create an atmosphere object...and in the atmosphere object u specify your volumetric shader as the SHOP volumetric shader u created earlier - this links up your atmosphere object to the i3d textures.
