Particle velocity driving animation speed

Hello everyone!

Even though I've had many help on odforce it's my first time posting.

As the title says I'm trying to figure out how you would use particle velocity to increase and decrease the speed of a looping animation.

I have done it with a copy stamp but I was wondering if there is any other way around it.
