A Little Lost With Terragen Sop And Compiling

Hi,

I feel a bit like a fool here.

I would like to use the the terragen sop and have downloaded the files. I guess i need to compile them but don't know where to start. A few pointers would be great, or a compiled version!

I guess nobody answers because you are asking the stuff so basic that helping you would be called spoonfeeding. How about atarting from reading wiki/Help (typing HDK in both)?

as MADjestic suggests, search for HDK.

you'll first need to setup you're development environment for using the HDK and there should be instructions to do that there.

Once thats setup, you should just be able to run

hcustom SOP_TerreGen.C

which if everything is setup properly then it should build with no errors (probably some warnings) and be available for you when you run houdini.
