hi,

is there a way to control the birthprobability of the splitPOP for example by the age of the source particle, Young particles emit more and gradualy stop emitting

is this possible?

You can add a property POP and for example in the Mass parameter write $AGE. Then in the split POP write $MASS.

Hi Miguel,

thanks, it works, but just to get it right. right now mass changes my base simulation, too, so I added a custom property to my source particles. I can use it in the splitPOP , though it was indicated as unknown when i typed it in. for example my custom props name is ems and when i use it in splitPOP as $EMS it it indicated red ( not valid ) but it works. is this the right behavior or do I miss something here
