Spline Collision?

just a thought...

You could use your "hand" animated splines as constraining object for a solved wire, and the constraint set to spring, so that You can use the wiresolver to solve the collisions.

We made a octopus like monster, and use the spring sop ,chop wave to make its antenna animate. When the whole character moves, the splines cross eachother.

Is there any way to solve this problem in DOP?

You can bring in geos into DOPs as 'animated_RBD' -- check it on RBD_OBJECT node, also use 'point_velocity_for_collisions' on RBD_SOLVER

I created a line in sop and connected it into a spring sop, when I use rbdobject and turn on "use animated geometry", it only appears at frame 1.........at frame 2, it disappeared....

now it's active so solver try to move it and it also animated so it also moving, you should make it a rbd_passive_object during you make it move(animate), you can apply data as active_value to your animated object to make it move by rbd_solver in time when it should be treated as a part of simulation
