Trying Fluids.

Symbolic

Recommended Posts

Hi,

After exploring for a while... I have started to experiment with H9.1 fluids.

Here is my first try. Something is wrong...

I am trying to collide a fluid sphere with a solid sphere... Later I will try colliding two fluid spheres.

(For now, with two fluid spheres... they just go through each other ?!)

Here is a flip book.

Somehow the solid sphere disappears and the fluid sphere explodes?!

Any ideas?

Cheers!

EDIT: The *.mov file is a Sorenson3 file. Sometimes those files do not play directly in firefox under Linux. Please download it and try viewing it with VLC or something under Linux.

Not ignoring you.. just busy... you figure this out yet? :)

No worries! Thanks! :)

I will try to deal with it tonight. If I find a solution I will post it immediately.

My laptop is so slow on fluids... it takes time to process the simulation and after 1 hour... you get a weird result...

:)

the usual story.

Hey man

u can start by changing ur guide's on ur Particles in dops - change that from spheres to sprites. its MUCH faster to visualize.

its slow with spheres even on my work machine :)

Take a look at the file and let me know if this is what u after.

this file shouldnt explode like ur play blast, but id encourage making sure ur on a new build
