TheAdmira1 Posted May 23, 2008 Share Posted May 23, 2008 Hey guys, I have a friend trying to have a branch grow around a post from a photo... he as built a proxy post so that the vine has something to grow around, but he wants it not to render, yet render? hes trying to get it so that the post does not show up, yet the vine needs to basically be cut by the geometry so that the vine that is on the backside of the post does not render either... we tried to make the post both renderable yet phantom thinking that the geometry would block the vine, but not actually show... we were wrong... anyone have anything that could help?
