I am currently working on a simulation where a spaceship has to crfush into a building, but the exact landing has to be decided by the animation department's cached out animation, which leaves me having to do my fractured object simulations driven by the abc cache.
I have tried to attach a metaball to the primitive and use a magnet force to keep a bounding object in the position of the animated spaceship, so it affects the fractured object, but it is really out of control.
further on I have tried to do a pin constrain, but that was a total failiure, bucause it does not calculate the collision.
Do you have any suggestions what I could try out?
