seems a good example, but with animated objects, apparently, the effect is not the same. why allways boxs? In houdini I think: sim from bullet, eg:500.5000, 50000 small spheres..and you can manipulate the data very well, transf velocity from point to volume and go back to millons of particles. you can use a glue feature and a lot a lot of things.(and you not have to wait a week to see the results.)
