  1. Delete SOP making particles go crazy

What Skybar said, what is happening here is the pointnumber of each particle is changing on every frame so if you are deleting by that a particle will be deleted on one frame and not another. If you use id instead you will get the result you want as id stays the same over the frame range. The deleting by ptnum might have been working before if you were not sourcing new particles or deleting old ones and the ptcount stayed the same, what is probably happening on the frame where it goes wonky is the point count changes.
  2. fracture trick

Have you gone through the video I linked? That should give you a good starting point. If your still stuck upload a Hip file and I can take a look at it for you.
  3. fracture trick

Sometimes it takes more than 10 minutes for someone to help you... This goes over some clustering Another way you can go about it is applying a voronoi pattern to your constraint network and having different constraint strengths for each cell of the voronoi pattern. This will also allow you to have no constraints between each chunk so you get larger pieces breaking off.
  4. Noise in particles

Do you mean colour noise or positional noise? You should not need Cd to add noise to the particles. If you mean positional noise take a look at this video and this houdini doc that shows some different types. Im not sure if this answers your question as it was not very clear to me what you wanted to do, if it did not could you clarify or upload a file for us to look at.
  5. Using Houdini Offline

It should work fine without an internet connection after you have licensed it for the first time. I have had several times where I was without internet for several days and it worked fine for me.
