    Thank you for that example. However I'm now thinking I need to attribute randomize string values. I'm rooting around in the parameter interface finding some interesting things out.
  4. Hi, I'm scattering points on a sphere, giving the points an attribute named height. I'm attribute transferring the height attribute onto the sphere which has a mountain sop on it. It's working. I want to do the same thing with the basis which is the noise type but cant get it to work. Any help is appreciated, thanks. - Mike
  5. Hi, Is there a way to scale a 3d noise across a mesh using a painted attribute? For example if I used a cell noise to make scales on a lizard and had an attribute that could scale the cells in size around the jaw or belly etc. When I try to do it I get very strange rounding and squishing in the noise around the edges of the painted attribute where the attribute map goes from black to white.
