    Man vs Machine recently completed this project for Pepsi. I have been trying to render a similar look using a setup that involves adjusting adsorption in the materials and setting the IOR for the cola @ 1.33 and the bubbles @ 1.0 but I can never get anywhere close to this look. Does anyone know if this look can be achieved with Mantra? If so, can you offer some advice on how to achieve this look? Thanks in advance.

  5. Is there an expression I can use in the Delete SOP to delete 5% of the points every frame? I'm stuck on this one. Any advice would be appreciated.
  6. I am wondering if someone could guide me on how to get bubbles to float on a surface and be advected by the flip fluid and underlying surface? I can place a grid and use copy stamping for random sphere sizes.. but not sure how to get the spheres to "float on the surface" matching the surface position of the flip fluid. This is the identical effect I am looking to achieve... any advice would be greatly appreciated.
  7. I am racking my brain trying to figure out how to composite my simulation that has smoke intersecting with geometry. Basically, I have a simple simulation with some billowing smoke coming off of some fractured geometry. How do I render the smoke to exclude the areas hidden by the geometry. Is there some kind of Alpha Mask that needs to be generated with the smoke? I apologize if this is a stupid question but I am just learning VFX.
