  1. What is the best way to make agents walking up/down stairs?

Did you ever figure this out? I am also having trouble figuring out how to get agents to walk up and down stairs smoothly.
  2. Here I have a triangle made from rayed points from a box to a grid. scattered some points and used connect adjacent pieces to connect them as shown. I would like to add points where the lines intersect so I can add UVs to each line between the points. I hope that makes sense. Any help would be appreciated.
  3. Hello Everyone. Im trying to test my foam particle settings on my ocean but every time I change a setting it re-creates the ocean displacement taking 7 mins each time before it starts to render. I know I can bake out the displacement, but how do I attach it to the ocean surface shader so it doesnt re-create it every time I change a setting.? Or am I doing this totally wrong and there is a better way?
  4. micro organism underwater thing in houdini

Thats a pretty cool idea, I hadnt thought about that. I thought about tiny hairs but making it move would be much cooler. Thanks Mind Thrower.
  5. micro organism underwater thing in houdini

Dof took focus away from the effects so I didnt use it. The idea was micro organism but as if you were also microscopic. Kinda like you are in a ship investigating the spread of infection. But I agree with the volumetric lighting. It ended up more like an underwater scene rather than microscopic. maybe remove the volumetric light and replace with gentle depth of field. Ill give those a try. thank you for your input.
  6. Hello all. This is the latest project I have been working on for my demo reel. Houdini / Redshift. I used growth to effect redshift displacement, some flaking using simple voronoi and spring sop that was activated by the same growth as the displacement. I plan on growing the infection across the beam sections and having them break apart. I was told it needs to be more saturated too. what do you think? All feedback is welcomed.
  7. Magic world globe reconstruction

I agree^. would love to see a longer piece that gets closer. Very cool. I like it.
  8. I am coming up to my final term at Gnomon school of vfx and have the option to do an internship/externship as part of my credits. I feel working in production is where my studies fall short but other that I am rearing to go and become part of a team. I have been working mostly in houdini and rendering in Mantra, Redshift or Vray. Focusing on fx with a side interest in lighting and compositing(nuke). Please take a look at my reel, all of my contact details on in my reel, any feedback is welcome. Thank you.
