  1. Changes to houdini Fluids in H17 help!!

I was wondering if anyone can help me with this one, Im very new to Fluids in Houdini and following an introduction to houdini fluids on digital tutors https://app.pluralsight.com/library/courses/introduction-fluid-simulations-houdini-2078/table-of-contents , in the chapter "Controlling the Fluid Source with Volumes" the instructor creates a fluid from an object by the Emit Particle fluid button. This was done in an earlier and the source is created with a Flid Source node that has controls for Velocity volumes and adds such things as a curl noise and vortex. However in H17 the source node is different and does not have these controls instead i read somewhere they were removed and its needed to add a noise attribute and volumer rasterizer but for some reason i cannot get the same outcome of giving random movement to the particles.. Im aware this sounds very beginnerish but any help with this would be highly appreciated. Thanks
  3. Hey ernieML Have you ticked High precision UVs for the mesh in UE and changed vertex colour to replace? It seems to work for me

  7. Hey Guys Ive been trying to look into establishing a Houdini destruction pipeline for our game and we have started at looking at exporting to UE4 for testing. Ive followed most of what Luiz has posted in his videos online but Im getting not very far with my sim looking like a jumbled mess.. Im sorry if this has been asked before if it has please point me in the right direction Here is the material I have in unreal and Ive attached the .hip file. Ive notices the export of the file is always coming out at 139x149 even when i do set it to 1024 I copied and pasted the shader code into UE4 and added the rot and pos textures and the bounding box values.     Hi I'm new to this forum and Houdini and I came across this while searching for methods to do this kind sim. Could I shamefully ask for someone to do a tutorial on this or at least point me in the direction of tutorials that will help with doing sims like this? Thanks Adam
