I got the MSI GS63VR 7RF , the performance is incredible! i had some troubles installing linux the 4k screen worth every dollar but its a bit sensitive and mine was a little bit damaged in the shipment but its almost unnoticeable the downside is the build quality. if you are use to a mac prepare for a lesser product. it feels very fragile, the minidisplay port and power charger connector are not best located because to the cooling system. which is very very good. keeping it cool even when rendering full power the battery doesn't last for long and the track pad is horibble so you will have to do the math for yourself, the goods vs the bads i wish apple will upgrade their spec because their build quality is so good

I know i will get better performance using a desktop but portability is a key issue for me so, MSI GS63VR Stealth Pro 4K-228 15.6" 4K Display Thin and Light Gaming Laptop Core i7-7700HQ GTX 1060 16GB 512GB + 2TB VR Ready for houdini mainly what say you? i was also looking at Amazon’s Choice – Gaming - Acer Predator Helios 300 Gaming Laptop, Intel Quad Core i7 Processor, GeForce GTX 1060 6GB Graphics, VR Ready, 15.6" Full HD, 16GB DDR4, 256GB SSD, Red Backlit Keyboard, Metal Chassis, G3-571-77QK with very similar specs but weights more and have worst display but hey! 1000$ less

hi thanks! the issue is the tissue!! I want to know how to get this wetness effect, and how to animate this displacements. actually i'm having trouble understanding this principled shader, how to do displacements? even the simplest thing like scaling the displacement texture and changing the angle? i found only this and i guess i'm looking for more simple stuff

probably a simple one, but still I'm not sure i understand how it works. im advecting scattered points through a VDB vel field in a solver than i trail those points. I'm trying to polywire the result for the render but i see only a series of points. what is the right way to do it? circut.hipnc
