  1. Hi all, I started a strange but interesting project, I'm using an app to track whenever I go for a run, it tags a position every 10 meters, it logs Lat, Long and elevation data to a CSV file. The elevation data is in meters already which works fine in Houdini, How would I go about converting the Lat Long data to represent the path I took on my run? I wish I could give a run down of what I've already tried but in all honesty I don't even know where to begin. Some guidance on this issue would be much appreciated. Thanks
  2. Hi All, I have a strange issue involving Houdini not reading a UDIM sequence. The file names are ordered as BaseColor.1061.exr through to BaseColor.2994.exr I can read the files into COPs just fine when reading them as a frame sequence ($F) but trying to read the as a UDIM sequence into a Mantra texture node, I get "Error reading file". I haven't come up against this problem before, I have verified the files aren't corrupt and run through the sequence in Nuke. There are a few gaps in the numbers but I didn't think that would cause a problem. If anyone has any insight it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tom
  3. Hi, I have packed geometry coming into Houdini that has an attribute of the object name. I would like to be able to pass this attribute to the shader and use it as part of a file path expression to pull the texture for the geo contained within the packed alembic. I know I can bind attributes from the geo and have done for some Integer values, but I cant figure out how to then use a string attribute as part of the texture expression. If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be extremely helpful and very much appreciated, Also, apologies if this is obvious I'm not particularly experienced in Houdini. Thanks
