  1. Hello, please help me. I can't get running Houdini 17.0.352 on my laptop (windows 8.1.) After install it was working properly, but after restart, everytime I'll do an object and turn on smooth shaded it will crash immediately (wireframe works). I've tried everything I could: - googling solutions - update all drivers - reinstall houdini - try to install windows 10 (wasn't possible because of my laptop) crash report: Qt Warn: Warning: QT_DEVICE_PIXEL_RATIO is deprecated. Instead use: QT_AUTO_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTOR to enable platform plugin controlled per-screen factors. QT_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTORS to set per-screen factors. QT_SCALE_FACTOR to set the application global scale factor. 4008: Fatal error: Segmentation fault Saving application data to CUsers/KUBAN_~1/AppData/Local/Temp/houdini_temp/crash.untitled.kuban_000_4008.hiplc
  2. Unifortunately doesn't work
  3. SOLVED! Just update to the new build!
  4. Hi, I am just learning Houdini so please be patient with me... I just need to zoom and pan ("2d zoom and pan") inside my view, when I am modeling details based on BGimage of the camera. I've seen these camera parameters can achieve that. But for some reason BGimage is floating and doesn't correspond with my 3d view, when I am trying to pan/zoom. Please, what I am doing wrong?
  5. Well every houdini until now worked properly. Even this one worked after fresh install. But stopped after reboot or reopen Houdini.
  6. Thank you - that realy sucks. I have to report this bug.
  7. Thank you, but that's what I am doing and BGimg is sliding anyway. I need to model into camera view, because model should fit into it for camera projection mapping later... Top, Right, left is useless
  8. Hi - please don't you know about any solution how to force houdini to reload texture map input (like in attribfrommap or trace) every time when the file is cahnged on the drive without to pushing reload button like crazy? There should be a way!
