  1. Hi, I am looking for a way of extracting all the prim groups from an imported OBJ into separate Geometry containers. The functionality is similar to the FBX import but I would like to have the ability to edit the geometry before extracting to separate Geo containers. I attached an image demonstrating the principle. I would like to extract all the prim-groups from the Null to separate Geometry containers, each with the name of the prim group. Thanks you, Stefan

    1.Your cooler is not compatible with the CPU. 2. I would get a higher PSU in case you add one more graphics card or many HDD's. - 1000W is my suggestion 3. Check RAM compatibility on asus site. Please note that T3 benefits from lower latency ram more than core clock. Get C14 is my suggestion 4.   3. Animate the assembly of an object

    Thanks for the response kleer, that's what I was thinking too i.e. to start from the assembled product and work backwards. I am quite new to houdini and I don't really know how to have geometry that is animated with keyframes which will also have dynamic collisions. I attached a hip file illustrating the problem. Basically I animated the cubes and I would like them to interact with each other before reaching the final position. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you, Stefan collision_examples.hip

    Did you find any other info on this, I am interested as well. Would like to have a bunch of objects lying on a table and the assemble into the final object but with collisions enabled (similar to the new Houdini 18 Solaris physically based USD layout). Thanks, Stefan!
