  1. Ok, in case anyone else has this question. In the octane tab of the geometry node there's a subtab called attributes. There, you have to add the attributes that you would like to reference in the material network with the "Color Vertex Attribute" and "Float Vertex Attribute" nodes. If you are working with a scene saved with an older version of octane you will have to delete the octane tab and add it again for the attributes subtab to appear.
  2. Hello, I can't figure out how can I reference houdini attributes in the octane network material. I see there are two nodes called "Color Vertex Attribute" and "Float Vertex Attribute" but I don't know how to use them or reference the attribute I want. I can't find anything about them in the documentation either. Does anyone know how to do this?
