  1. Hey magicians, Been fighting with this for 2 days, I have a person + suit I did on Marvelous, and I want to attach some tubes on the back. Some people on facebook group suggested Rivet sop, as well as a tutorial with extracttransform + transformpieces, but I don't have luck. I also tried point deform but the geo distorts. When I tried Rivet on the cloth itself, it wiggles, I guess because of the folds moving, so I tried directly with the person inside, and works better, but still not good. I'm attaching some examples: This was the best result so far: T6a4mNQqS0.mp4 But gets fucked at the end: 2IwfUr3sMm.mp4 Any thoughts? Thanks!
  2. Hi; I attached a grid to last point of my wire object using point wrangle. Now the grid follows that point's position, but how can I force it to follow rotation, too? Thanks for helping. Wire.hip
  3. Hello guys, How can I attach a rigid body object to a piece of cloth? I'm a bit lost on this. I tried cloth and also pbd with no success, now I have no idea on what i should try. There's a file attached (using grains). It's a starting point if anyone can give it a try. Cheers - Alvaro rbd.to.grains.v1a.hiplc
  4. Hey, How do you attach wires to a surface? Quite obvious, there is the attach wire to surface node. However, you have to choose the points on the wire to constrain. I have over 1000 curves, so that method would never work. I see in the manual this: "The Wire Solver will constrain certain points if it finds a point attribute called pintoanimation or gluetoanimation on the Geometry subdata. This can be used to release point constraints on a per-point basis." Is that what i need? if so, how exactly can I get it to work? How can I create a group that contains the root points of the curve. Thanks
  5. Hey guys, I'm working on this snot simulation and I need the top part of it to be "attached" to a nose. Any ideas on how to proceed? EDIT: Right now it's like this but I need to "constraint" it to a character. Thank's Alvaro Snot - v1-a.hipnc
  6. Hi everyone! I'm a beginner in Houdini and I'm having a difficult time trying to attach tentacles of a jellyfish to its head. I have the head made from revolving two curves and converting them to polygons. I then tried to group selected points and copying the tentacle polygon to the aforementioned points. Is there another way that I can attach these tentacles so that they are attached to the head? Previously, I just had the tentacles revolve around a circle, but they only appeared to be attached to the head. I'm planning on exporting the finished polygon into Maya later on as well so I can't have any intercepting polys. This is what I want, but in Houdini: Thank you!
