  1. Hi everyone, I am attempting to use the Hair Card Generate node to make a bunch of body feathers for a bird. They generate fine from the GuideGroom, and they will move with my animated mesh when plugged into the GuideDeform, however I have noticed that they are changing per frame. Not all of them, maybe 5-10% of them are changing position per frame and I can't find a solution to it. From what I can find on the documentation the cards are being generated by clusters inside the node, but even if i make my own clusters that stick to the mesh and do not change per frame the hair cards are still changing. I have attached a simple setup that shows what is going on. Hopefully it is something simple I have overlooked cheers! hairCards.hipnc hairCards.hipnc

I want to share a little tool I made for grooming feathers. Its a set of 6 nodes, one base node and 5 modifiers. Super easy to use. Just connect them and.. there you go - you got yourself a pretty little feather. You can layer modifiers as many as you want. Any feedback is super appreciated. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/8v05sgdlo5erh0b/AADSfadqkxgPOBVeaGr2O49Oa?dl=0

  4. Hello everyone! Right now I'm in a process of doing feather system for my character. I'm doing it based on the fur system - I'm taking its guide curves and adding a sweep on them to get patches. Right now I'm working on orienting them right. When I get some decent result I'll show it, but for now I want to know, does any of you have some ideas of how to do feather system? Maybe someone already did one and know where to start?
