  3. i am trying to layout some pieces of geometry on surface. Those pieces are made of other pieces so i create an island attribute for the uv layout node to use and pack them as a whole and not each object individually. The problem is that although i have selected no rotations as you can see the uvlayout node rotates them anyway. Anyone else having the same problem? Is there some obvious mistake that i am missing?
  4. I can not get uv quickshade to work in houdini on this new workstation . It doesn't do anything. Runnning houdini 18.0.499 I thought perhaps the uvgrid_grey.pic in the texture map was inaccessible for some reason so i tried to give it another uv texture but still nothing. Any ideas whats going on?
  5. So I have a model that I would like to pack the UV mapping across UDIMs in a certain way. Now I can pack as needed with the uvlayout node across around 10 UDIMs. The issue is I need to have the primitive all mapped in the same grid not packed over 3 UDIMs. I would think there is a setting to keep islands of a particular primitive together in the same grid. Either way, I hope this makes sense and any help would be much appreciated.
