mightcouldb1 14 Posted February 19, 2010 Yeah that reflection stuff is awesome... I believe that is environment mapping. Here is a video of it in use: http://www.youtube.com/user/MatthiasmVideos
pelos 6 Posted April 2, 2010 i was trying to replicate the effect using just a Torus, but in the pop node why is the $NPT and how you were able to make the Group Sphere affect the points? Thanks =).
Netvudu 114 Posted April 2, 2010 Very nice example Igor. Thanks for posting it. pelos, $NPT is there so that the Source node generates as many particles as the number of points the geometry source has. The variable $NPT means "Number of points". As for the sphere group, I just checked the scene fluid palace v2 and can´t find any sphere group there. What are you referring to?

What are you referring to? there is a group node after the particles nodes, but i understand now, is to activate the aanoise, wind, so the particles start moving, this groups is set to Sphere and this are the properties that are animated, now i understand. in that way you can leave the particles statics and when you want the effect start, just move it =). Thanks for the explanation =).
