VOPs and Custom Attributes

Hi all,

I've created a custom attribute named "WGHT" inside of POPs...it's all good, but now I want to access AND change that variable within a Vex POP...how would I do this? I've tried a lot of different things, but it just won't work...what am I doing wrong here?

In pops, right-click the pop, select Create New VOP Type.

Then, in VOP, TAB, find the VOP node you created are there.

Just a thought. I'm not sure about this method because

the only thing I have done in VEX Builder is surface shader.
