Houdini Indie?

As a sum-up for the thread then - Robert Magee confirmed the specifics of the Indie license with me, and he's said he'll be creating some form of official FAQ soon.

In the meantime, the crucial specifics I found out were:

 - Any commercial entity who you share Houdini scene files or Houdini Digital Assets with (.hiplc and .otllc files), becomes a partner, and the $100,000 limit applies to the entire annual revenue of both parties combined.

 - Any form of baked-out content/data shared with a commercial entity is fine, and doesn't require you to take their earnings into account.  That includes renders, Alembic geometry exports, etc.

 - Indie and Indie Engine both have full command line functionality, and both work with HQueue, so you can set up a 6-machine farm with the maximum 3+3 licenses.

So can you confirm what Houdini Indie does when you open a .hip, .otl, or .hipnc file in it?  A lot of tutorials and learning materials are packaged with these support files.

Can HoudiniFX (full-comm version) open .hiplc and .otllc (are they .hdalc now with H14?) files?

Does your session become an "indie" session? meaning your only able to save .hiplc and .otllc files?

I know SideFX will do a one-time conversion of your otllc, and hiplc files into hip and otl when you buy a full comm license - much like the apprentice offer.
