Houdini New Position Based Dynamics Solver

Looks cool. Is it gonna replace any existing DOP nodes or workflows that you can think of?

I think is great to start having PBD in Houdini.

SideFX again ahead of anybody else.

But, personally, I don't like how is has been integrated in DOP POPs, it should be part of the POP solver.

And in general DOPs is slow for particles, which is going to be even worse with more complex constraints in PBD.

For me PBD is the future, I hope the implementation in Houdini will improve in next releases, for a first attempt is ok.

Looks pretty cool... I hope it's fast (who doesn't)!

In another Houdini Forum, a guy (who knows the one who made this test) just said the rendertime for this sim is couples of seconds per frame ...

We will learn more after the Japan event !
