DeviousShadows 1 Posted February 11, 2017 Hello! I'm a complete newbie when it comes to render passes in Houdini. How should I set up my mantra to render out glow for an object? I would like the middle crystal glow. There should be a way to mask out the surroundings too right? Thanks in advance!
woodenduck 50 Posted February 11, 2017 Render it separately. Glow in comp.

Atom 1,208 Posted February 11, 2017 You are done rendering, your image is there. Just add a glow filter in After Effects or whatever you are using.
jonp 14 Posted February 12, 2017 You can also do it in Houdini, in COPS. See the attached HIP. Navigate to the /img context and look at it with a Composite View pane. blur.hipnc
